AFLAME – Catholic Spiritual Mentorship Program

Aflame Catholic Spiritual Mentorship Program forms the laity through practical formation in discipleship (spiritual life), evangelization (sharing with others) and spiritual mentorship (forming others in the spiritual life). Its purpose is to deepen one’s relationship with Jesus Christ through fostering “habits of holiness” with the intention of accompanying others on their spiritual journey of faith and passing on these habits through spiritual mentorship.

The following areas of the spiritual life will be fostered and deepened each weekend through evangelical catechesis, prayer and practicums:

  • Encountering Christ in the Scriptures through Daily Meditation.
  • Growing in your love for the Eucharist
  • Striving for virtue and learning to make better confessions
  • Recommitting to living your vocation well
  • Develop and live a Plan of Life/Rhythm of Life
  • Learn to share “habits of holiness” and our faith with others
  • Practical formation on spiritual mentorship

It involves a commitment of time of 3 weekends (Thursday evening – Sunday early afternoon) over a 9-month period and a financial commitment.  There will be spiritual homework and an in-person gathering between each session.  Contact Fr. Brian Nolan or Lara Schumacher for more details.
