Knight of Columbus (KOC) at St. Ignatius of Loyola

The mission of the Knights of Columbus is to provide members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities’ familes and young people.

Founded on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights of Columbus was established in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven, Conn., and a group of parishioners. Their intent? To bring financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled and needy members and their families.

The Knights of Columbus Council #11815 Is active at St. Ignatius and serves in a number of capacities including Lenten Fish Frys, Chicken Dinners, Field of Honor, St. Nicholas breakfast, etc.
